Winter love

This poem takes inspiration from She walks in beauty by Lord Byron and The song of the wandering Aengus. I would like to dedicate it to my cousin Jessica, because she is a beautiful little girl, not always happy and i adore her. I also did see her wandering through the night as sorrow bathed her sh

I saw her wandering
through the night,
as sorrow bathed
her shadowed face,
neither creature nor flower
it seemed to me,
could make an ounce
of happiness grace.
As moon beams kissed
her painted hair,
and danced upon
her naked feet,
she of silver
unaware,
stole my heart
and caught it's beat.
